Recently I purchased this cute little buffet from my local antique store with the mindset that someday I would shabby it up. I already possess a larger buffet that is natural wood and would never think about painting it as it was my Grandmothers buffet and has the most beautiful wood, but wanted one to shabby, so here it is.
Do you ever get the feeling, "oh no, what have I done?" Well this is where I had that feeling, but upward and onward I go. Kind of like this look, kind of distressed, I plan to do that later on the finished product.
I just love the ornate pieces on this buffet, I'm guessing they were added on later!
Okay, think I'm done for now, will distress it later. But for now, I just want to enjoy the change.
I am in Shabby love!!!
Well, with the Valentine decor, I think it is perfect, I know I will change it a million times before I get it just right, but am loving it now. (I can't believe I was struggling with my photos for so long, LOVE this Google Chrome, thank you, thank you!)
I am linking with Pink Saturday.
Hugs,
Ginger
