A Pink Shower for Tammy
Hello my sweet friends, just wanted to show you the beautiful bridal shower we put together for my daughter Tammy last Sunday. I made it a "Happily Ever After" theme and it was wonderful and I think Tammy was pleased with it. I found this Cinderella coach at Hobby Lobby and had a florist put of course, PINK roses inside. It turned out so pretty.
I don't think the table was any more beautiful than my daughter, isn't she lovely. And I made her a chicken wire crown that said "Bride to Be". I made cake pops, that was an experience, my first, but they turned out pretty well. It was fun. Okay my computer just had a major malfunction and I thought I had lost everything!!! Back to my story. She was so excited with all her wonderful gifts. Tomorrow is the wedding and I am sure it will be a fairy tale wedding. Skip on over to her blog at
tammyssweetheart to see all the amazing plans she has.
Thanks for stopping by. Have a wonderful weekend.

My Old Kitchen Made New
We have finally almost completed our kitchen makeover from a 1970's harvest gold, out dated kitchen to the beautiful kitchen of the present. I have been saving the $ for several years so that we could do this project debt free and finally my dream is coming true, only thing to do now is new flooring. It took our carpenter/plumber/electrician about 2 weeks to finish the project and it was well worth it. Anyone who knows me would have thought my new kitchen would be shabby pink, and that was my intention but as things progressed, this is what I opted for and I am glad I did as I can add any color I want to this color scheme. I have seen closets bigger than my kitchen, but this is what I had to work with and I am happy with it.
We also redid our two bathrooms with new countertops, sinks and faucets which I am so happy about, no more leaking faucets I hope for a while.
I know I've been missing in action, but with the construction going on and my daughters upcoming wedding this month I have been really busy. I try to get around to each of your blogs, may not leave comments, but I am still keeping up. Hope you enjoyed my kitchen transformation. Have a great week.
