Studio Coming Along

If you follow my blog you saw my post a couple of weeks ago where I showed you my MESSY craft studio. Well, I've been working on it and think I am making progress. I ordered one of those ruffled king size bedspreads with the ruffles on it and cut off all the ruffles and added some to this pink tablecloth I had and I love the look on my sewing table.

I store things under the table and it just adds so much romance to the room.

I moved my crafting table to the other side of the wall and seem to have more space in the room. Now if I could just clear off the table!!!!

I have a lot of supplies don't I?

Every corner is an inspiration.

With the ruffles I had left from my craft room tablecloth, I added the rest to a white round tablecloth for my tea/dining room and I love it, although it was quite time consuming trying to make what was left of the ruffles fit the table. But I think it was worth it.

Doesn't it look romantic? I am in love with it. In case you want one of the bedspreads I got mine at Overstock.com and they were just a little over $30.00.

Happy Valentines Week

I am definitely in the Valentine mode!!! I've been crafting away making all kinds of cards, treat bags and baskets and loving every minute of it.

I joined my local scrapbook store's card class and made this beauty, it was so much fun. Thanks Mel!!

And I have been watching U-Tube videos and came up with these great treat baskets for my someones special, and wouldn't this be cute for Easter or Halloween or Christmas, endless ideas!!

And these little treat bags, they are so fun to make and so easy!!

This is the basket I gave my friend Sharon, she loved it.

I made this romantic Valentine banner last week and I am so loving it.

I got the idea from Terri Heinz of Artful Affirmations, she is so talented.

Love the little cherubs and all the pink and fu fu!!

This isnt a great picture but you get the idea. Valentines Day kind of snuck up on me, only 4 days away! Hope you got some inspiration here to make some of these crafts for yourself.

My Girls Birthday Party

My girl Tammy at http://tammyssweetheart.blogspot.com had a birthday on Feb. 6 and I am just now getting my post up to show her birthday party and to wish her a wonderful birthday. Please hop on over to her blog and wish her a Happy Birthday. She has her home decorated from top to bottom in Valentine decor and it is beautiful so I made her a heart, red velvet cake to go with her decorations and it was all beautiful, just like her!!

I am so proud of my daughter, she is so talented and has a heart of gold and loves life. I could not ask for a better daughter and love to be with her when I can.

I am sure Tammy will post all her lovely decorations and show all the beautiful creations she has made for Valentines Day, they are magnificent. Hope you enjoyed seeing all the red and pink. Happy Valentines Day everyone.

Invited to a Ball

My lady Olivia has been invited to a ball and she is so excited!! It's a lovely bunch of ladies she will be joining over at Carols place, The Polka Dot Closet so be sure to hurry on over and check out all the other lovely ladies. My friend Olivia is named after my grandmother whose middle name was Olivia, who loved sewing, crafting and was full of love, just as my Olivia is. She loves wearing her lace and petticoats and I think she will fit right in at the ball, although she is not very formal.

Olivia is a little on the hefty side, we have been trying to diet but doesn't seem to do much good!!!

But she is a queen to me, wearing her pearl and sequin crown, she is bound to be a hit. Well, must go now, her carriage is here to pick her up.
