Romantic Valentine Decor

I am having such fun making Valentine decor for my home such as this
sweet romantic LOVE banner I have on my fireplace. So simple and yet
so romantic. I just decorated some images and glued them on some pink and white string. Now how easy peasy is that?
Rebecca at rebecca-gatheryeroses.blogspot.com always sends me the cutest cards with my orders and I used one of them here. Love how it turned out, thanks Rebecca. (Blogger still won't let me link:(
And I think it is just awesome, so romantic and PINK, like I like it!!
My friend Mel at my local scrapbooking shop gave me this great idea for gift bags. I am attending a tea at my daughters home today and am giving this to her with something inside for a hostess gift. So cute and easy to make.
Love this one too. Hope your weekend is wonderful and be sure to check out the links I am posting below. Their links are on my sidebar.

Inspiration or a MESS!!

Okay, how many of you out there in crafters blog land have the same dilemma as I do. I love my craft room/studio and spend endless hours in here, but lately I don't know if it gives me inspiration or makes me dizzy.
See what I mean.... I know exactly where everything is the way it is here but I would like some organization, but seems like when I start putting things in containers or drawers, I can never find them again and go buy duplicates (and then find them the next day) so I don't know which is worse. Does anyone have any ideas for this room which is not very big but is MINE for my crafting. All the beautiful studios you see on Pinterest are lovely, but I am thinking, where is all their STUFF? If you can't see it how do you get an inspiration?
I look at my room and I think, well I could put this here and that there but then it comes down to......oh well, it works how it is!!!!! You should see my daughters room, it is beautiful and nothing is out of place. I dont think I can work that way but may have to give it a try. Maybe I could make a notebook of where everything is stored, tee-hee!!
I have little lovelies all over my studio to try to give me some Inspiration.
And it is getting full of my inspirations I have made such as these little flowers and eggs and jar.
And I have plenty of bobbles and glitz to make something beautiful fancifully displayed in my dizzy room.
If you saw my post below last week I showed this cute little banner I made with the hearts, but just wasn't what I had in mind so I added some cute glittery flying birdies, I love it now. Just have to keep going til I get it the way I love it.
I can use this not only for Valentines but for anytime.
Tomorrow is my handsome son Jeremys birthday. Wanted to wish him a beautiful Birthday and wish him much happiness for the year to come. He is everything a mother would want and more and I am so proud of him. Happy Birthday Son!!
Have a wonderful weekend, and if you have any ideas for my studio, please run them by me. I am linking (I hope, blogger hasnt been nice lately) with PINK SATURDAY, SHOW AND TELL FRIDAY and
FEATHERED NEST FRIDAY. They are all listed on my sidebar if I cant get them to link.

Creating Hearts

Now that Christmas is over I am at a loss as to "what to do" so I have started making some Valentine hearts. I love to create these because anything you put on them seem to fit!!
I have my house back from Santa, put him away in the boxes (lots of boxes) and loved putting my home back to the whites, beiges and ivorys I love with a hint of roses here and there.
Isn't this the most lucious lounge chair? I found it before Christmas and I am in love with it. We get along famously!!!
This little banner goes right in with my ivory decor and has some cute embellishments for Valentines or anytime I think. Love the lace, roses and glitter (of course glitter).
Heart #1
Birdie Heart #2
Rosey Heart #3
By the way, I am a Pinterest freak and I tried one of the clever ideas for cleaning the soap film from your faucets, tub, shower, etc and it really works. Heat 12 oz. white vinegar til hot, add 12 oz blue Dawn dishwashing liquid and place in spray bottle, I used my old Windex bottle. Spray on effected area and either use cloth or scrubby pad and wipe off and rinse or let set overnight if it is a bad case of scum. My faucets have never looked so good.
Does anyone have any idea why I can't link on blogger anymore. The links below will not link up but if you go to my sidebar you can click on them there, sorry for the inconvenience.
Have a great weekend.
