Okay, how many of you out there in crafters blog land have the same dilemma as I do. I love my craft room/studio and spend endless hours in here, but lately I don't know if it gives me inspiration or makes me dizzy.

See what I mean.... I know exactly where everything is the way it is here but I would like some organization, but seems like when I start putting things in containers or drawers, I can never find them again and go buy duplicates (and then find them the next day) so I don't know which is worse. Does anyone have any ideas for this room which is not very big but is MINE for my crafting. All the beautiful studios you see on Pinterest are lovely, but I am thinking, where is all their STUFF? If you can't see it how do you get an inspiration?

I look at my room and I think, well I could put this here and that there but then it comes down to......oh well, it works how it is!!!!! You should see my daughters room, it is beautiful and nothing is out of place. I dont think I can work that way but may have to give it a try. Maybe I could make a notebook of where everything is stored, tee-hee!!

I have little lovelies all over my studio to try to give me some Inspiration.

And it is getting full of my inspirations I have made such as these little flowers and eggs and jar.

And I have plenty of bobbles and glitz to make something beautiful fancifully displayed in my dizzy room.

If you saw my post below last week I showed this cute little banner I made with the hearts, but just wasn't what I had in mind so I added some cute glittery flying birdies, I love it now. Just have to keep going til I get it the way I love it.

I can use this not only for Valentines but for anytime.

Tomorrow is my handsome son Jeremys birthday. Wanted to wish him a beautiful Birthday and wish him much happiness for the year to come. He is everything a mother would want and more and I am so proud of him. Happy Birthday Son!!
Have a wonderful weekend, and if you have any ideas for my studio, please run them by me. I am linking (I hope, blogger hasnt been nice lately) with PINK SATURDAY, SHOW AND TELL FRIDAY and
FEATHERED NEST FRIDAY. They are all listed on my sidebar if I cant get them to link.
Hugs

Happy Birthday, Jeremy!
I think your room looks cozy....a creative chaos you might say.....I find open baskets on shelves a great help. There are those that have the labels in front. I know it is tedious to label everything, but when you are through you know what you have and where you have it. When you shop for more, you know just where to put it! A dresser is great, too. The smaller drawers can hold ribbon, lace, etc. I love jars for buttons and sort them by color....
I am not an authority, but this how I do mine and still there will be some odd pieces that don't fit anyplace, so of course, I have and odds and ends drawer, too.
Have fun and be sure and show us the finished product!

oh, I so understand. I have a wee bitty spot in the corner of my living room. It's a little frustrating. But, it is MINE. Good luck and I love the way you use the different vases and such to display items. come by for some puddin n pie and a giveaway!

I know what you mean - only difference is I just always move and restore (as in find another place for something . . . and forget where it is) BUT I never get to the crafting part - unless you count crafting words as in typed and written. Frustrates me - I want to do these things and set up my craft/office room and just go in circles. I think if you're inspired and it works for you - that's all that matters.
Oops - happy birthday to you and your son! (You get to celebrate too you know!) Jenn
Oh my gosh...your son looks so much like you! Happy Birthday to Jeremy! I need to reorganize my studio...it's a piggy-mess!

Your room is feminine and pretty and visually busy... all things my room is not. Sometimes I wish mine was more like yours. But I simply can not work in a room with supplies and partially finished projects looking down on me,while you draw inspiration. Your style , my style, or something in between, each is "right" only if the crafter feels it is.
Your studio space is lovely and pure blissful inspiration. I agree...if I don't see it I don't use it or enjoy it. Happy Creating...
