Christmas Ornament Swap

I was a participant in the Bloggerette Sorority Christmas Ornament Swap and my partner was the sweet Miss Becky of Rebbeca Rose Designs. She was my partner two years ago in a Christmas Swap and I love her work.
Look how sweet these two clay ornaments are that I am sure she hand sculpted and made with love. They are so precious.
This one was backed with a white wooden snowflake.
And this one has a beautiful crown adorning its head. It was so much fun to participate in this swap and it's always such a fun activity for Christmas time. Be sure and visit Becky and check out all her treasures.
For some reason unknown to me, Blogger is not letting me link anything so I will just write it out for you, Beckys link is http://rebeccarosedesigns.blogspot.com To see the rest of the swap partners go to http://bloggerettesorority.blogspot.com

Christmas Pinks & Aqua

This is my family room all decorated for Christmas dressed in silver, aqua and pink. Something I've never done before but I think I like it. I started out with only silver and aqua and it reminded me of a commercial so I added some pink and I'm loving it now.
I have the baby pinks, silvers and white in my dining/tea room, the gingerbread in my kitchen (as you can see in the two posts below this one) and my family room in silver, aqua and pink so I have everything I love in my home this year.
I love this crown which is a good reminder what this season is all about, our Lord Jesus birth, King of Kings.
I love my stocking I made this year, it is so lacey and frilly.

The snow effect on these branches are just beautiful, yesterday the weather man said we might get some snow (4") on Tuesday. Yeah!
Baby Jesus and Mary under a cloche, they just fit!!! Isn't that sweet.

Hope you enjoyed my tour through my home and maybe inspired someone. Enjoy this week before Christmas and indulge in the season.

Dreaming of a Pinkalicous Christmas

As promised last week, I am sharing my pinkalicous Christmas tea room. I am using a lot of what I had last year, just tweeking it a little, I still love the pink and white and silver of this room.
So many of the ornaments were either hand made by me, gifted from so many of my blogger friends or given to me in a swap and each one is a lovely memory of all of you I have become friends with.
Don't know what I did to this little picture, apparently I cropped it too much, lol, sorry!!
I just am in love with anything pink for Christmas. You should see my Pinterest boards.

I have such enjoyment from making special ornaments for my tree such as the one above with the pink glitter frame. I love it.
Over the years I have made or collected these little pink cottages and have added the bottle brush trees to make a romantic skating scene on some shelves I have. Usually these shelves hold my vast array of teapots and tea cups.

This plate holder is so much fun to decorate for each season and usually holds the Christmas goodies I make closer to Christmas.

I am never done with my Christmas decor, just a pleasure of mine. I have seen so many beautiful things on everyones blogs and they are such an inspiration to me.
Have a lovely weekend.

Gingerbread Kitchen

Happy Saturday fellow bloggers. Showing you my GINGERbread kitchen today. I have three different themes going on in my house for this Christmas decorating year. One room is dreamy pinks and white and silver......

The main room is aqua, silver and white and soon to add a little pink to that, and my kitchen is Gingerbread of course. Have to have a little mix of all my favorites and I love it.

I have been collecting gingerbread ornaments and such for a lot of years and still love to get new ones.

This picture above is my favorite, see the little red horse under the tree, my husband was in the attic recently and I asked him to look for my daughters pink and blue horse from her childhood, he couldn't find it but found my son Jeremys horse I bought him when he was 18 months, I can still see him scooting this little pony all over this house, brings back so many treasured moments.

I am still not done decorating, always an addition or a change somewhere to be made and a little primping to make it just right.

I am seeing so many wonderfully awesome blogs with so much talent. I want to try all the crafts and glittering everyone is doing, but not enough hours in the day with working. It is raining cats and dogs here right now and they are calling for lots of snow Monday...........I need to go do some shopping......! Aargh.

Aren't these gingerbread marshmallows so cute???

Love my GINGERBREAD!!

Next time I hope to show you my pinkalicious tea room!!! Have a wonderful weekend friends.
