These pumpkins are fun to frill up and decorate. I plan to make more, maybe some with fall colored flowers on top also.
I tried to keep this one all tans, white and off white and used a quilted fabric for the base. Can't decide which I liked best.
Last week I had the honor of going to our local Expo Center and watching the touring Airforce entertainers of "Tops in Blue".. the theme this year was Rytham Nation. They sang songs beginning with WWI all the way to present and then their dedication to the 911 tragedy. If you are hungering for patriotism, you must go. I haven't missed a year since they started coming to our area, and hope I never miss one in the future. Outstanding.

We had 5 inches of rain and a few limbs blown down but otherwise, we fared out okay!!
