My latest endeavor to create are these cute stuffed fabric pumpkins for your holiday decoration. They are fairly simple to make so I made two of
them yesterday while watching FOX news covering Hurricane Irene. So many of you out there were in the path of this storm and I was worried.So glad to hear that you are alright!!
These pumpkins are fun to frill up and decorate. I plan to make more, maybe some with fall colored flowers on top also.
I tried to keep this one all tans, white and off white and used a quilted fabric for the base. Can't decide which I liked best.
Last week I had the honor of going to our local Expo Center and watching the touring Airforce entertainers of "Tops in Blue".. the theme this year was Rytham Nation. They sang songs beginning with WWI all the way to present and then their dedication to the 911 tragedy. If you are hungering for patriotism, you must go. I haven't missed a year since they started coming to our area, and hope I never miss one in the future. Outstanding.

All is well here after Irene paid us a visit, just lots of tree debri and a mess in the yards, but we are all okay.

These are just darling!! I will have to try my hand at them..
We had 5 inches of rain and a few limbs blown down but otherwise, we fared out okay!!
