Halloween Ghostly Pink Saturday

Happy Halloween and Pink Saturday my fellow bloggerettes!!!! Isn't this the cutest ghost? Miss Tobi at Pink Pixie Forest was kind enough to share how to make these great ghouls for all the kiddos to see on Halloween night. She has the greatest blog, be sure to pay her a visit and see her dancing ghosts too. She has all the instructions to make them. Thank you Tobi, it was great fun making these.
I also made this cute little mummy jar. I gave my Mom one of these filled with candy for her Halloween treat. She loved it.

This is a can I made last year for the Halloween treats. They are fun to make. Just buy an empty paint can and cover in your favorite paper and embellishments. Stick a sack of candy inside and give as a gift or keep to decorate.

But back to the ghosts........they were so much fun to make, although the day after I built them, this Oklahoma wind was pretty hard on them and a couple of them looked more like ET than ghosts. But I fixed them. LOL

On Halloween evening I plan to put light sticks on each one of them to make them look like they are glowing. And maybe put a pot in the middle with dry ice to really make it ghostly!!!!

I love these ghosts because they look like non scary loveable ghosts dancing around the pumpkins.

Be sure to check on Beverlys blog at How Sweet The Sound and see what everyone else contributed for Pink Saturdays Halloween post. Thanks again Beverly for hosting our Pink Saturday once more.
Have a wonderful weekend and a GHOSTLY Halloween.

Ginger

Need Booth Vendor Information

Today my daughter had a sweet Halloween Tea for her and I on her porch. She always decorates so cute and this was no exception. She makes sure everything is perfect. Isn't she cute in her witches hat?
I had to get in on the act too. We had a good time and the tea and muffins were devine.
After the wonderful tea, we went to our local antique shop, spent 4 hours there and decided to rent a booth to share to see what kind of response we have to all our pink, white, glitzy, shabby chic decor.
I was wondering if any of you experienced booth owners could give us newbies some good tips about the things you have learned like what sells best, pricing items, etc. Any information will greatly appreciated. This is our first experience as booth vendors.
Thanks,
Ginger

EEEEEK!!!!

EEK, it's Pink Saturday again, and I am running out of pinks to show you.
So I am showing a modge podge of things around the house. This is the only Halloween decoration I have inside of my house. Not really into Halloween this year. Kids are grown and I have no grandchildren. When the kids were at home I decorated to the hilt for every holiday.

I did find a little pink birdhouse I bought a couple of months ago. Will this count as my Pink Saturday contribution?

I wanted to show off my sweet potato vine I planted this year where nothing ever grows. I planted two plants and this bush got even bigger than this. It's a great plant to fill in large spaces.

And I found this cute squirrel seat at Lowes and just had to have it. So far no squirrels, just crows.
Short and sweet, I am going to have to round up some more pinks. Sorry I couldn't be pinker, I'll do better next time. Be sure and visit Beverlys blog and check out all the pink saturday blogs.
Have a great weekend.

Pink Saturday

I am making decorations for my Christmas tree I put up in my dining area in pink, white and silver and decided to make some pink candy canes. They were really simple. Just rolled out some pink clay in long ropes and the same with the white. Twisted them together, baked for 15 minutes, sprayed with spray glue and glittered them.
See how cute they turned out. I plan to tie some pink ribbon on them also after they are good and dry.

I got the biggest surprise today. My sweet hubby went to a local garage sale in our little community and bought two boxes of glass dishes, PINK GLASS DISHES!!!!!!! The dishes say Arcoroc France.
The lady selling them said they were depression glass but not sure about that.

I don't care if they are antiques or not, can you believe he bought all these beautiful pink dishes for $25.00? He did and I am thrilled with them. He knows how much I love dishes and especially PINK!!!

I counted 15 dinner plates 4 small bowls, 4 bigger bowls, 4 saucers, 4 teacups, 6 goblets, 6 fluted goblets, water glasses, dessert dishes, etc. It is not a complete set but I can make it work.

I am in pink heaven, just think of the beautiful tea parties I can give.

Thank you Beverly again for hosting this lovely pink party. Be sure to go by Beverlys sweet blog How Sweet The Sound and look at all the lovely pinks being shown.
And a special thanks to my wonderful husband for thinking of me and buying me this lovely set of pink dishes. Love you!!
Have a great Pink Saturday my friends.

Pink Saturday

Happy Pink Saturday fellow bloggerettes!!!! Today I am showing you some Christmas tree decorations I am making out of images, glittery frames and bling. I know, every year I get in a hurry for Christmas but I LOVE making Christmas crafts.
This is also a good way to use up all your scraps and embellishments you didn't know what to do with. And it is very inexpensive to make these. The backs are just cardboard covered with scrapbooking paper.

My sweet daughter made this one for me last year as a gift tag. Isn't it cute. She is so talented.

So far this is my favorite. Do you see the little chrystal hanging under the flowers? So sweet.

And I have to show you the rhinestone belt I found at the antique store for $5.00. I plan to use it in some of my crafts. Each rhinestone is sewn together to the next one so easy to cut.

This is end of my summer roses and can you believe my lilacs bloomed again in the fall? Just beautiful show of early fall flowers.

And how about this daisy. PINK it is!!!!
Well that's it for my Pink Saturday post today. Be sure and check out Bevs site for the rest of the ladies Pink Saturday contributions. Have a great weekend. Do something creative!!!!

PINK SATURDAY

Recently I went to TJ MAXX and found these great dishes with the poinsetteas on them. What I like about them is they aren't the usual RED but have more of a pink color to them. They not only would work for Christmas but the fall season also. And they were very inexpensive.
Got the mugs to go with them. Wish I would have bought 4 dinner plates also, but only bought one. I may be going back soon.

This Pink Saturday post will be just some various pinks I found around the house to take pictures of. I discarded as many out of focus pictures as I am showing here. I need camera lessons!!! I took beginning photography class but I get worse as I go. LOL I made this little tag this week and thought it was cute.

This is my serving table I have set up in my dining/tearoom that I keep set up all the time, just for me to look at.

Table settings I keep my table set with. I change it out quite often, I have loads of dishes.

A shot of my kitchen chandy and side of my cabinet with some favorite antique plates.

A birdhouse I painted white, painted roses on and decorated then attached it to an old antique pillar I found at a garage sale.

And last a shot of my latest addition of a lap quilt on my coffee table. Saw this technique in a magazine and thought it would be cute.
Thanks Beverly for hosting this weeks PINK SATURDAY. Be sure to visit her blog to see what everyone else is showing this week. Have a wonderful weekend.
Hugs
